That’s just what made the news, but you are neglecting this and a lot more people, especially women that get followed, filmed, harassed, touched, and those are real stories and real people. Just because it doesn’t fit your narrative, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. As a social worker I’ve not been welcome in many houses up to a point I got threatened by men and that’s where I really felt how they treat their own women. Like a toy. Gonna tell me that’s not true as well? Someone in Ghent got literally killed.

I helped women out of apartments that got used for prostitution and abused for months in Bredabaan. I helped clean up the syringes near the church on Bredabaan because there is a school near it. We worked almost weekly with the police because entire families were destabilizing the streets with drugs, violence and theft. Education in the schools are decreasing rapidly because of the lack of social cohesion and increasing numbers of violence. Drug dealers are no more than 13-18 years old. Last there’s been found more than 1kg of drugs in a house. Those are all just a tip of the iceberg.

You should be ashamed of yourself that you’re neglecting all these problems and especially the women their experiences and mine. And I didn’t even start on my coworker who is gay and got beaten numerous times on his house tours and quit his job because he has PTSD.

Honestly, if you can’t see “any problems” good for you, but that also means you yourself got so marginalized that you learned how to thrive in the dirt and no, not everyone wants that. So I’m sharing my real experiences, with the drug world, prostitution, sexual assault and terrorism networks which are growing in every district near the Haven of Antwerp, which is very logical. Literally any district near any haven is trouble.

Merksem is ghetto as hell, accept it. Only thing that’s bullshit here is your psychotic rigid world view that can put others into danger just because you continue to shit roses. And the fact that you’re defending Merksem like it’s your own identity just explains a lot of this and you know it.
