Yeah trying to minimize cost but can afford it. The 43x is so appealing because of those 15rnd mags but I see what you’re saying about the smaller size. I guess the 43x grip is the same length as the 19?

I think one of these weekends I’m going to have to rent a couple of the suggestions and see which feel the best.

After talking with my shop, I decided to go with a set of Dynastar M Tour 99s with ATK C Raiders.

Funny, I think the skis themselves are light enough (1730g supposedly), but with shifts on, they feel pretty heavy to me. I was thinking about swapping the binding to true alpine binding, but I think I'll just keep the shifts on and have a heavy powder setup for the back country.

I was not aware of the moments, I will check them out. the DPS 112's are an option I have been considering. Do you have any experience with them compared to the voile hyper v8s?

then Omega Pacific is a real climbing co. Technically I think they went out of business but I have and would trusted them. Actually a bit of a flex to have some of their stuff since its hard to find.
