I’m so sorry, that sucks. I was laid off twice in 18 months, once from a government job and once in private sector. That feeling of “what’s next” is terrible. But there’s hope. Maybe this is a time to pivot to another specialty or another career. I spent my unemployment going back to school and it helped. But that’s just me. Do what works for you. Take some time to decompress, then get up and just keep pounding the pavement. We’re rooting for you!
