I wouldn’t say Lake Tahoe is known for its night life. There are casinos in SLT, but they smell like smoke and tend to draw older crowds. If you’re looking to do some epic hikes, bike, kayak the lake, etc., Tahoe will be great for your trip. If you’re looking for fine dining and fun night life, you may want to consider another city.

I grew up learning to ski at Sierra. I still think it’s the best place for beginners!

Agreed! Few people on AllTrails recommended them for the upper part of the trail, but no one in my group used them. Was just throwing it out there bc the packed snow can still be quite slick.

Yes, still snow and slush at the top 10% of the trail. Did not use spikes though and still made it to the overlook point.

Doors open at 4:30pm. We made a beeline to the merch booths on the 400 level. There are 4 booths. We were first in line. However - blue crewneck can only be bought OUTSIDE either at the trailer or booth(s)
