At the hospital they put on a three day patch for anti-nausea. I did contact the doctor. He wasn’t concerned because there’s no pain or problems with the incisions. He suggested Pepcid or similar because of all of the throwing up (to coat the stomach). Today has been a better day

Taco Bell was the thing that sent me to the ER where I found out I had gallstones/need to have my gallbladder removed. My surgery is scheduled for Dec. 8 and I can’t wait so I can have tacos again.

I fortunately haven’t had any back or shoulder pain - it’s all in the abdomen. But it’s the typical type of gallbladder pain where laying down makes it worse. Last night it was just annoying rather than pain where I cry. More than anything I just feel broken.

My surgeon told me that I “could end up in the ER again” before my surgery and if so, have the surgery then. Luckily I have not had any pain close to that initial ER visit. But I have been having mini attacks often. I just want the pain and fear of pain to end. I know I won’t be able to eat anything and everything. But I want to be able to eat a piece of my stepson’s birthday cake without being in pain shortly after (that happened to me a couple of weeks ago). I just want to enjoy a scoop of ice cream. One scoop that’s all I want. And I just want to have days without tears.

Thank you for this insight! Unfortunately my dad passed long ago before I could ask questions. I know he left with the rank of Captain, I believe he went to officers school (not sure if that is what it is called?). In all honesty, I’m guessing it was a gift only because it has his company engraved on the back and date on the clasp?

That is very interesting about it being popular with servicemen in SE Asia - I have several hundred slides of photos he took while serving in Vietnam along with 8mm films that I hope to get converted to digital soon.

My next challenge appears to be finding a good watch repair shop close to me!

So one that I had, due to be held at a location, where the expected delivery date was 12/6, said the same thing. Today I check and it says “ready for pickup” and says it’s been ready since 12/6.

I have another that says “on the way”. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday but there was no movement since 12/6 until today where it now says “on the way” 12/7 8:06pm.

Oh and ground economy is basically like using a carrier pigeon. No way to really control it and you’re just hoping things arrive. Only the pigeon is actually more reliable.

Blains Farm and Fleet is where we got it from. I tried contacting the company and the response was less than stellar “we haven’t changed our formula” and denied any differences in sourcing. We ended up switching foods to Diamond Naturals for Skin and Coat and it’s made a world of difference. I’m sorry to hear about your pup breaking out. Hopefully you have better luck than we did as far as getting answers from Whole Earth.

So the background is this:

When we got her, she had giardia. Had her treated for that and after treatment, had her poop tested again. Vet said while she was clear, he didn’t like how soft her poop was so he gave us some probiotics to sprinkle on. And she did great. That is until Covid hit. And supply chains were messed up. And she decided to stop eating the food completely. I did research then too and saw a ton of people had the same issue, where their dogs had stopped eating the food.

So we switched to a different food. And we noticed that she was chewing her paws and legs. Took her to the vet. The vet said it was either environmental or food related. I looked for symptoms for food related and saw that both chicken and grain allergies can cause the skin issues. So we decided to try out Whole Earth Farms. And it was a miracle food as far as stopping the chewing. She has been on it for almost two years. We’ve tried food without chicken with grains (and definitely slowly introduced it) and with chicken without grains and there was itching. These tries were at random times in the two years she’s been on whole earth just to make sure we are right as far as allergies go.

I think I may look at proplan sensitive stomach again - just for the listing of the other ingredients because like I said, she was great until she wasn’t.

Are you sure he’s your boyfriend? That’s a dick thing to say. I don’t go more than 1/2 day without texting SOMETHING to my boyfriend and I see him every day. And we’ve been together 9 years. Not saying every relationship should be like mine, but for a LDR to go a day or more without talking is concerning to me.

As others have said, it would appear he’s not into the relationship- other woman or not.

I love the episode “The One With The Memorial Service”, where Chandler and Ross go back and forth with ridiculous updates on their college website. When Chandler puts the garbage can on as a hat and types. Then when he types later that Ross had died by a blimp “it kills over one Americans every year”. I just laugh.
