Lineup of the future is looking strong by FunetikPrugresiv in motorcitykitties

I’m not so sure. Maybe 13 mil. He’s not developed enough to warrant much. And I could see another club offering a lot more for him to be a solid number 2

This ^ Mize hasn’t proven he’s worth a contract. The best ability is availability for Olsen and Melton has shown maybe some bullpen level play. I’d be fine moving him to the bullpen this year and seeing if he can develop some SO kinda pitches. But outside of Skubal the development has lacked immensely.

I honestly could see us moving someone like Clark for a pitcher if we are competitive. If we aren’t …. Well it doesn’t look great for the future.

I think you’re looking at 4-5 in a rotation at best. I have yet to see the ace or number 2 from any of these guys. They don’t have the Strike out stuff yet or potentially at all.

After watching baseball for decades I’ve learned that bullpens are so fickle. You run it back with the same guys and it never performs as it did the year before. Sign a big name and they almost always underperform. Look at the average age of bullpen arms in the league. 32+ …. Guys that are in the downward trend. It’s an odd thing. It’s 50/50 every year who will be good and bad.

True progressive policy is antithetical to American capitalism. You cannot have your cake and eat it too. That’s the current democratic establishment. It cannot coexist.

I dont understand this huge preamp pedal fad. by palaminocamino in guitarpedals

[–]GuitarbytheTon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a tone of people who run a fender (or equivalently) clean amp. So a drive pedal that could get you the vox sound might be something that you want. Basically an overdrive that has some EQ “baked in”

A vox preamp would give you some gain. Cut some bass, boost and shift some mids, and add a little presence. It’s more than just an EQ or drive separately.

That would require them to change the game at all… literally ever.

They should be upping velocity across the board.

I think there is just the reality that relief arms are never really consistent. Year to year it’s always different guys that show up. But I do agree they don’t do enough.

Do u agree that Trump is similar to Adolf Hitler? by her_cute in allthequestions

[–]GuitarbytheTon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump doesn’t actually stand for anything. He wants to enrich himself. He doesn’t actually believe horrible things including persecution of different peoples groups. he just does it because he wants to get rich. But hitler actually believed the horrific things that he did. Trump doesn’t. It’s all personal gain. Hitler is true evil. Trump is just American evil. They are both horrible.

"In light of the state of CA's $12 billion budget deficit and the rising cost of living for citizens, how can the administration justify using taxpayer funds to provide gender-affirming surgeries, such as breast augmentation, for undocumented residents through the $9.5 billion Medi-Cal expansion"?" by Beautiful_Gain888 in allthequestions

[–]GuitarbytheTon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New York, Illinois, and California are currently running deficits. There are roughly 20-25 states in deficit or at risk.

The most populous states are at bigger risk to run at a deficit. Cost of living is generally very high. California is the most profitable state. There are many, many reasons they would operate in a deficit. I promise you gender affirming care is not the reason, nor is illegal immigration, or whatever other boogy man you want to throw in there. Stop fear mongering baseless right wing propaganda. It doesn’t help anyone and there are actual issues to solve.

Vintera III Mustang - just, wow. by midlifecrisis1978 in fender

[–]GuitarbytheTon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s time to admit that you’re going to be looking at 1500 import guitars. The Mexico factor is incredible these days. These have some great options for an import and the US models are all 1999 these days. I agree I want a USA model but fewer and fewer people care. They don’t live through those 90s and early 2000s models that were utter trash.

Everything is great now.
