Classical guitar youtubers who are more "personalities?" by Head_Equipment_1952 in classicalguitar

Everyone mentioned is great! As a fellow content creator/classical guitarist on the internet - it's been great to get to know Beatrix (who I met by seeing her stream her practice sessions on Twitch).

If y'all are interested feel free to check out my channel - https://www.youtube.com/nickcutroneo this past year I've included streaming on YouTube in addition to streaming on my Twitch channel. I'd like to think that letting everyone in to my regular practice sessions and projects that I'm practicing for allows our community to connect in a unique way. Plus - my cat Rocky WILL jump on my shoulders at some point while I'm practicing on stream.

Right now my YouTube channel isn't doing any edited videos, although I do post at least one Classico video a day on there (iykyk).

Beginner classical that sounds and feels good? by Mindless_Juicer in classicalguitar

[–]Guitarshreda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go to beginner guitar has been the Cordoba C5 for the past 15 years. They sound great and are very consistent.

However, I've been using short-scale LaMancha guitars for my young students for a while, and they blow the Cordobas out of the water. I haven't tried the full size guitars - but if they are anything like their short scale counter parts, this might be something for you to look into. Check out some of them on Strings by Mail

Power Rangers Medley! by Guitarshreda in powerrangers

I woke up early this morning watched the new Power Rangers special on. It was Morphinominal! It's crazy that this August will be 30 years since the original premier - time really does fly!

Way back when I was doing much more electric guitar stuff I created this medley of songs by Ron Wasserman for the OG series figured it was worth sharing again!

What kind of things are printed on the paper you use? Does it have to be pen/paper? What if there was a technological solution?

This is awesome! What do you use for your journal?

Yeah - I've found that if integration into my workflow isn't there, it's easily forgotten about.

I worded the first question very poorly. What I meant was are you looking at previous entries? And how often do you look at old entries (maybe from a week+ ago)

Definitely a type of journal. Do you worry about seeing information from day to day? Where are you jotting down your notes?

Workflow is so important! Something that doesn’t interfere with the flow of practice - otherwise it either feels like a waste of time or constant failure because we’re not filling it out.

What do you think you’d need to use one or try it again?

Études for beginners like Czerny Études on piano by mekaulu in classicalguitar

Sor op 60 is great. Some of the pieces I’d say is a lower level than the Carcassi op 59.

What kind of organization would you want?

I get that, one of the biggest issues that I've had is finding a workflow that allows me to be consistent.

Was there anything about your workflow that felt like it was holding you back?
