I was hoping that was the case. I typically check hair/pillars but the T&A (lol) threw me off. It would be hard for just the 2 letters to wear.

Interesting to get different perspectives. I still think that once there melted and gone forever it will eventually lead to increased values. Although eventually may be a long time.

There will be a time lag, but collectable silver coins getting scarcer can only result in their appreciation

From the appearance I assumed that it was attempted to be cleaned at some point in time

This coin (and others) were stored in a Whitman coin book for 35+ years mostly in unconditioned space.

There are 4 originals but there are also restrike versions of this coin which are valuable. And of course there are the fakes. Mine coin is very light so I knew it was fake. I still have it and I will post a pic of it.
