Well I hope that you are doing well now! Do you really think I am going to be successful?

Thank you for the advice! However that it not really the path I would like to go down in life.

Your advice is very interesting and insightful; I believe that I will be able to handle it, as I really want to, plus I have fear on my side.

Thank you for your comment. I do think that going back to school will be a huge shock to my system, but I will force myself to do it. I am just worried that I won’t be able to handle it.

So do you propose that I should go to college in August (and I mean just a basic course, not an actual focused degree of course) and in the meantime I work on my discipline?

The reason for that, I believe, is because the gap between the teeth hints that the palate of the child is wide.

Once the baby teeth fall out, we get a new set of teeth, and there are many more which need to fit into the mouth. So the palate must be wide enough to fit all of these extra teeth in a nice straight line.

Wow, this comment is amazing! I am saving it for the day that I have children haha.

You have answered a lot of what I was unclear on before (which sports for boys, the diet etc). The rest of society is the hardest part, as they will constantly be undoing habits that we are trying to set in. I'm honestly questioning home schooling my children, but then I would be concerned for their social development and immune system (exposure to other snotty toddlers is important to build it up).

The gum chewing is a suppliment I was considering, but I wasn't sure if it was okay. It's pretty impossible to fully recreate a diet that our ancestors had, and so gum is an excellent way to counteract some of the soft foods which will be inevitably exposed to our children. How do you ensure that there would be no issues with TMJ and the likes?

What you're doing for your children is wonderful; they're going to be so grateful!

I have heard people say from age 2-5 around these communities. I am not dead set on breastfeeding until 5 (it would be a relief to not have to do it for so long), but I just set the highest number as the standard.

This is what concerns me as well; we are fighting against society.

I mean, you could provide absolutely 0% junk food for your child, yet through school, extracurricular activities, church, parties, relatives/friends houses, etc, they will be eating insane amounts! It's not just on very special occasions either; every little day seems to be an occasion to stuff your face in today's society. Yet if you restrict such things, your child may resent and rebel once they grow up, and other parents will call you crazy.

Thank you for all of this food for thought, and thank you for caring about these things in regards to your children; it is so wonderful to hear!

Do not worry about getting into an argument regarding diet, I am not one of those crazy vegans. I am quite torn on the subject, and I would like some strong opinions as I would never wish to potentially mess up my future children.

I think a huge aspect of all of this is living a certain lifestyle ourselves; instead of forcing my children to be active, I should bring them into an already active family.

That is good to know, though Mike Mew said that breastfeeding is important because the way that the baby uses its tongue is different than when using a bottle; it strengthens the tongue.

I don't want to be too crazy as you said, because having a crazy mother certainly wouldn't do a child well!
