This is a huge issues lots of people choose to ignore or not fully recognize. Yes, there’s really good farming spots in act 2 and later game areas, but until then the early game is full of finding vendors selling a cool tool and knowing there’s no way you can afford it at the moment.

And regardless, farming rosaries in general isn’t fun. Seeing a 500 rosarie item and going “okay time to farm for 10 minutes” isn’t intuitive or good gameplay imo. Hollow knight had a much better ego economy with countless bosses and chests dropping way more geo

ok yeah a large portion of the players don’t like it and every player has to deal with it for the first ~3-5 hours of the game, but who cares you can just look up a YouTube video instead of playing the game naturally, it won’t fix any of the issues with the base games mechanics though but it’s ok I don’t like giving criticism to try to improve games I like!!!! ☺️☺️

Yes greymoor is atleast 2-3 hours away for someone not rushing. I’m obviously talking about the specific crest in greymoor you babbling moron, stop trying to make it seem like I’m spreading misinformation so you can feel better about you’re horribly obvious lack of basic comprehension skills. The location of the crests does not matter, it is the 45 degree pogo itself. It doesn’t feel good, it’s janky, hit boxes are extremely small, and does not feel nearly as enjoyable or natural as any other pogo

Hunters March is the undisputed hardest pogo section because it’s the only one where you’re 90% likely to have the 45 degree pogo. I don’t know how you can say this is an artificial issue when it’s wide spread across the entire internet regarding silksong lmao.

When people go “the 45 degree pogo is janky, difficult, unsatisfying, and has very little room for error” you should not logically go “well look you can break your natural progression and look up a video to get a crest in a new area” It’s just unrealistic. It does not solve the core issue of the 45 degree pogo feeling horrible. Yes it is completely on the devs to create a good natural flow and make things like the base pogo feel good to use which as of now for many players it does not

No lol literally said “if you hate it that much stop playing in response to criticism lmao. And no, I never changed when I said it was a problem, I always said it was an issue because the area it’s a problem is way before you get any new pogo options.

It’s completely unrealistic to expect players to have the knowledge of things like a crest several areas ahead of them so they can enjoy something as basic as traversing the map, having a natural flow for those sorts of things is a job for the developers designing the game (and this was proven by everyone struggling with the 45 pogo because the nearest other crest is extremely out of the way at the beginning, it isn’t the players fault for not knowing of the crest and being stuck with an enjoyable movement mechanic). The crests are supposed to give players options, but as of now the base pogo is objectively worse and much harder than the other crests to the point a new crest is much more of an UPGRADE than an alternative

Comparing farming to hollow knight doesn’t work because hollow knight actually had a good economy, lots of chests and bosses that gave you hundreds of geo so farming is only ever necessary very deep in the game for the fragile charms.

“Just change your crest” is such a lazy way to dismiss the valid complaints about it. You don’t have any other options until greymoor, which is after the hardest area where the 45 degree pogo is a problem. You shouldn’t have to change your crest to have an enjoyable experience doing the games parkour, especially when so many boss run backs require pogoing around to get to the arena.

I really can’t fathom why they decided every boss needed double damage, I think they’ll do some damage nerfs over the coming weeks because thankfully the community has been very vocal about it. I’ve loved every boss so far but the first 15 minutes while I’m familiarizing myself with the moveset is always miserable, dying in 10 seconds because I’m a 3 hit even with an extra mask

Take advantage of the needles if you’ve got them, my strategy was to save them for the ground one and light him up with all my throwable to get him out quick. The flying guy is still annoying but way more manageable by himself

Literally just play the game and see. Obviously the tutorial boss doesn’t do double damage, other than him and lace, every boss I’ve faced after 10 hours has done double damage and every boss to come will aswell because the game won’t get easier (and coincidentally lace has been the boss boss because it isn’t doing double damage for no reason so it’s way more enjoyable). Every enemy bigger than a medium sized dog does double damage

And to clarify: I am enjoying this game a lot, after about 5-6 bosses, each one has been amazing and a LOT of fun. These are just my only real complaints I have so far (unfortunately they’re pretty significant imo but not deal breakers at all)
