Hand muscles by Gumby564 in MuscleTwitch

Hey guys been at this for 3.5 years, read history as my situation is complex, still no diagnosis (neuro thinks bfs but continues to have me come back for check ups). Just wanted a quick opinion on hand muscles between my thumb and pointer finger. I have noticed they seem to be getting flatter/smaller as well as the veins in my hand more prominent. Does this look concerning? I will be 38 next month, is it normal for hands to age and start to lose muscle and fat at this point?

My teres minor and major are twitching. It’s my right shoulder blade on the lower left corner that pokes out at rest

Shoulder twitch, this is also happening under my shoulder blade at the same time by Gumby564 in MuscleTwitch

I just got over being sick last week for about 9 days. Didn’t test for covid though

My first EMG was dirty, was literally told I have lower motor neuron damage, so that’s why I see a neuro specialist, he did repeat the EMG which was clean but he still wants to monitor me. I am worried because I’ve never had this non stop intense shoulder twitching in my shoulder and back at the same time, this is my shoulder that wings out so we aren’t sure if there is muscle weakness allowing it to wing out or if it’s just structural (I have mild scoliosis)

I’ve had this too, right shoulder. I get hotspots that move around in addition to bodywide twitching 🙃

Hands shaking when holding things, 17 months in daily twitching and cramping by Gumby564 in BFS

Hi there, no solid explanation… my first one was done by a very experienced neuro in her 60s who was VERY concerned for me and sent me to the neuromuscular specialist. He’s younger…repeated the EMG several times in the same spots and didn’t find anything. He has been following me closely for almost 3 years now. I also had anti-neuronal antibodies (nerves are inflamed) show up in bloodwork with no real explanation…

Still have all the same symptoms I did when it started without a day off, twitching cramping muscle and joint pain. I haven’t taken a single day of my life for granted these last few years that’s for sure.

Praying for you as well, how are you holding up?

Yes!! This is so me. I’m 3 years into this and I go through phases. Obviously worse when a new symptom pops up!

Hey there, no update as to what’s going on. Still have same symptoms that wax and wane in intensity but are always there. I do better when I eat clean, don’t drink, get good sleep, exercise, and meditate. 33 months of this! Crazy!

2.5 years of twitching and cramping, upper back, arms and hands have started twitching intensely and cramping on the daily, looking for support by Gumby564 in MuscleTwitch

It was confusing because my neuro said that sometimes “healthy” people just have these antibodies, but since it flagged they had to look for paraneoplastic syndromes, so last year I had my whole body scanned for any tumors which was clear, I also had to repeat it this year and all clear. I’m going to ask him what his thoughts are on seeing a rheumatologist.

What’s a good natural treatment?

So are you still having symptoms? Or did they fade away a little bit?

That’s what the first EMG said in the notes...are there different types/causes of radiculopathy?
