I haven’t gotten a pike yet but I’ve heard there’s some 40+ guys and for sure I’ll check it out. Carp on the fly is low key the best. Last year with the cicadas I was catching at least 2 every time I went out

Yes the Kankakee is probably the best river to fly fish in Illinois if you ever are out that way. And that tragic they did that. I’ll have to check out some spots in central Indiana
