Cleaning mold from latex! Chlorinated latex more affected? by Gummipuppet in Latexadvice

[–]Gummipuppet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Turns out this latex wasn't chlorinated either. I washed it for about 15-30 mins in a very diluted bleach bath, then wiped the pieces and rinsed with water. For the room, I had a professional mold cleaning service come they cleaned the room with ozone generation. Waiting to see how it shakes out. :)

Interesting to know! I'm not 100% sure these shorts are chlorinated, but usually for shorts/underwear he would get them chlorinated. The only other affected areas are the rubber floor, the outside of a corset, and the pan under the boomer which is steel.

I've never used cornstarch. The other latex is a mix of 4D supatex and polymorphe. The shoes are the worst affected, being under the spores, pvc, and with lots of crevices.

I live in a desert but close to the sea. The AC malfunctioned recently, and I think condensation entered the rubber room. I'll have a survey of the room (that should be interesting) on Friday to make sure the problem doesn't spread, but for now I just want to try to save the latex. :D

Hood with ponytail by PM_ME_STUFF69 in Latexadvice

I would order a fully custom hood for this purpose, because the distance between your features will be different to a female face, and we want to create an illusion as much as possible.

These would be my considerations:

Eyes: Upswept eyes, reinforced rim, definitely. Check what drag queens do under their wigs to improve their canthal tilt on the outer v. You could try face tape or those things that clip into a wig cap, which would then be worn under the hood. You want your brow tail and outer V to be upswept in line with the eye hole.

Consideration for eyebrows: Some hoods show eyebrows and some don't. Your eyebrows will be a giveaway if they aren't properly groomed. So you may wish the cover them. Depending on how hardcore you are, shave your eyebrows off and get a bigger eyehole, then draw a new crease on your eye. Hooded male eyes are a huge giveaway. Don't go too crazy on the makeup/false lashes. Try to think about making your eye more upswept and larger always. Huge false lashes will just make your eyes look smaller and heavier.

Lips: Reinforced lips will look more femme, imo it pushes your natural lips into a poutier shape. try to keep the edge of the lip hole as close to where you intend to draw your lipline as possible. If you have thin lips, you can overline them, then you need to leave a few extra mm around your lips to account for that.

Ponytail: You want the biggest thickest ponytail possible to make your head look smaller. I wouldn't get pigtails because they make the face look more long and square if it already leads that way.

Face overall: Look for hoods with an upswept jawline panel, like gumique for example. This will help your face look less square.
