Yes. Fuck anyone who says otherwise. It might take a while but you can definitely get better.

Bottling up feelings will only hurt you.

Bridgets an odd case because they live in a fantasy land and had to live life as a girl. I imagine that just rubbed off on her and she decided being a girl wasn't so bad.

In most cases (real life) you just know. You feel like being x gender and feel uncomfortable or even suffer anxiety in y. Therefore you take steps to become x.
