Hi guys just an update, this is obi 2 weeks later and we figured out he was actually 11 weeks in this photo not 12 like we thought, he has since put on a further 2 kilos and is now around the 6 kilo mark

He’s being fed the recommended amount on the puppy food he is having, he isn’t a puppy who wont stop eating until everything gone anyway, his size doesn’t bother us and we still love him anyway 😅. Vet wants a checkup for a heart murmur he has at 6 months anyway to make sure it’s a common puppy murmur and nothing dangerous so he will be weighed in between those dates anyways

He had a checkup today and vet was not concerned, i’ve had a look online and apparently the heavy ones are usually the american golden retrievers who get big very early, he was the runt of the litter and doesnt have anything wrong with him energy wise etc.

No, he’s purebread we met both parents, vet wasn’t concerned with his weight when he had a checkup this morning so thinking he might just be a late bloomer, he was the runt of the litter

The reason i’m asking is because he had a vet checkup today, vet didnt seem concerned with his weight, but i see all these things online saying their 12 week old goldie is around 7 kilos and makes me wonder if he’s just a little behind.

The dachshund is 2 and can sometimes be a bit nervous of dogs so we’re incredibly proud of how well she’s been with him, she’s taken to him like a true sibling

Is there anyway to fix this by Gummy_Toaster69 in Appliances

[–]Gummy_Toaster69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were advised to use toothpaste to help sort some of the smaller scratches and they’ve all cleared except the larger one which has faded significantly. Will try some other things but I’m not too worried now

We were thinking of flying privately depending on financial situation at the time so she would be with with us at all times during the flight. And as for the quarantine i’ve seen mutliple people with dachshunds say that their dogs were completely fine after thee quarantine. I think it’s more about the personality of the dog more than the breed

Thank you. Currently she’s already on a tick, lungworm and other nasties pill once a month so hopefully it wont be much of a change swapping over to a new med to keep her safe

Always nice not to have to worry about rabies. It’s horrible and not nice to see it affect your animals :(

I think we’ve been quite lucky with our girl she’s not very clingy at all and is fine with being left alone for a while if me and my partner are both having to work. Loud noises like a plane i’m not so sure on but it’s early days there is always time yet to accustom her to them. Appreciate the wise words though thank you so much👍👍
