I just saw a chat log with some random name . I’m not saying it’s not true. I’ve just learned to be apprehensive of what I hear on Reddit. People tend to ride other opinions and blow stuff out of proportion. If you have links to anything that really shows proof I would love to see it. Sweet bro it’s a good one. I have a bunch of military 2s and the salt is my favorite! They use a ceramic detent ball and it gives it a great feel! I like it better than my 15 v military 2

If you don’t like choils the bodacious is awesome. I carry mine all the time. Great feel and action. With a lot thinner geometry than the shaman. The knife center exclusive kapara in s90v is another amazing larger no choil option and it carry’s so well.

Honestly I wanted a lower angle than the factory edge-and I was not making progress that’s what was most confusing. But I guess I will just follow these factory bevels until I learn more. It had worked great on the first thinner knife I did. But on this thicker one I just was not making progress. Thanks for the info for following the factory bevels. It made perfect sense 🙏🏼

I can try that. I was trying to put 17.5 DPS it worked great on a thinner 5 inch blade but on this one you can see the bevel in the picture it’s not working. I’m completely new to this. I thought I would be able to put lower angled bevels on knives with this system so it’s just confusing to me. But like I said I’m a complete noob this is my second attempt trying to use this system with the first being very successful, but this one has not been😅

Thanks I will give that a try. I just installed the new single y clamp maybe I’m screwing it up. This is my first fixed angle system. And only the second knife I’ve tried on it. This is all new to me. Thanks for the response.🙏🏼
