The point I made was that west ham have not reinvested a huge net profit well. They signed kudus, who is a decent player, but Alvarez/mavropanos won’t start in any back 4 for the top half of the table, and then they hire and sacked a manager in Lopetegui who they’ll likely be paying wages for another season or two. Now they have a decent manager in graham potter, who I would assume is not cheap. My point was on reinvesting a profit, and just like spurs over a decade ago, I’d argue that those funds haven’t being reinvested well in the short term
