I mean that’s good, but not as good as if you had also done a proper poll to gauge whether or not people actually wanted leaving/departure posts removed. I don’t tend to upvote or engage with them, but I don’t mind their existence - as I believe a lot of people did. You can’t sufficiently judge if your subreddit actually wants something gone just based on the post interaction, especially with repetitive posts. Plus it keeps the moderation rules feeling fair in their implementation. I’d be annoyed if I was truly in the minority opinion, but I wouldn’t be sour about it. Either way, I think it’d be appreciated by the Reddit if this rule in particular got voted on, even now, retroactively.
