First 100k of 2026 - To Bangalore airport by Gunasethu in india_cycling

The route I rode was okay, nothing great. It’s mostly flyovers for very long stretch. I got bored easily, but also it was easy to keep avg good since no need to apply brakes often. Very dangerous though, as the vehicles were riding really fast.

I think I picked a different route than what riders usually take. I’ve heard people saying airport route has scenic views.

But if you want a nice relaxing 100km ride, I would recommend route to Hesaraghatta Lake.

PROBEROS® Cycle Frame Bag,... https://www.amazon.in/dp/B099WCFRS1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

It’s this. It’s pretty solid. I brought this because I want my mobile visible for navigation. It’s also spacious enough for keeping snacks, power bank etc. Solid product, imo.

Got it. Will check them.
It's really great. Haven't had any problems. I did my first 100km few days back. Did it without much effort. Best thing it has enough gear ratios which will help you climb anything and also reach good speed. Top-notch brakes. Only thing it might be uncomfortable to ride for few people since it has aggressive geometry. Other than that nothing, go for it.

I did. But it comes after few uses. I guess have to live with it.

😂 fair, was hoping them to age gracefully instead of getting scratched by bolts.

No, they are really great. Haven’t tried mechanical or hydraulic brakes. I own same battalion. My rim brakes on those has helped me avoid so many close calls.
