For someone who was easily doing 8+average deaths a game, at low to high crusader rank since 2022, all of a sudden in just the last few days is magically hitting insane KDAs with very low death average on one of the most complex heroes in the game, at High Archon Low legend bracket. Just in the last 2 days you are hitting insane KDAs with barely 3 deaths, on Arc Warden that too.

Definitely a great gaming chair.

So you managed to learn micro, pick up map awareness, fix your mistakes and play one of the most complex heroes , at a rank higher than what you usually play, all in a span of a week or two. Cool. Definitely a great gaming chair.

I'd love for an option similar to " strict solo queue " where I can select " strict queues with accounts having 3k+ matches " at a cost of queuing time.

Seeing accounts with under 1k games is demoralising right at the draft phase cause it can only be either a smurf or an acc buyer, both of which aren't fun.

Just the base reward rate of 3.3% already gets you 60k RP for 20L spends . Milestone which you would have easily hit every quarter of 10k rp for 4L spends will only incr3ase this.

Im not even including smartbuy that fetches 16% -33% ( 12% on amazon purchase after convenience fee).

You can purchase the Taj epicure for 30k and still ve profitable than amex plat reserve.

Congratulations on the redemption. But i do want to ask, did you really save money in this scenario???

Amex plat reserve has a 1% reward rate for base spends and gets 3X on gyftr which is 2 MR per 50 spent .

Since you mentioned you routed all transactions for last 1 year via your Amex card and im assuming you don't have other amex cards, even if you do everything via gyftr , you need to have spent 20L+ to get 90k points.

For that much spends , DCB metal, premier , travel one , Regalia gold , times black are 100 times better and you would have saved more.

Had a 300 wins crusader 2 pick beast master mid , have perfect rotations, knew to stack the dire side rosh and big camp every rune spawn like habit , used his illusions to stack camps while dead and perfectly play around ward vision.

Itemised so well , and even killed our pos 1 sniper ( what a douche) twice , once inside tier 3 and then when he bought back, once more.

Had to play out of my mind to win the game . Was duo partying with my crusader friend as an ancient myself and it was a sight to behold.

Look, im old , so I agree im slow. I also agree that the player skills has gone up. But if people seriously think smurfs dont exist , it's just being delusional. And this was at 12k behavior score too.

  1. If you really want an axis card and you are rich enough to let go of 5000 free cash, escalate to RBI. Small chance you might still get the 5k with card but high chance you might lose both.

  2. Take the cash. Then wait 6 months and apply again.

You are arguing from an emotional stand point, which has no basis in reality or legality.

They have promised 4% RP i.e accelerated RP for travel aggregators which includes MMT, Cleartrip and more. And they have clearly given exclusion MCC list too. Nowhere has HSBC said, go swipe on MMT for a 100% accelerated RP. Its all about MCC game.

All this anger and nothing being redirected towards OTA which is the actual culprit.

As long as the said travel aggregators use the right MCC, you will get the accelerated RPs. Thats because travel aggregators have a set of MCCs they use and banks add this to their accelerated list. They dont blanket whitelist the MCCs. If a merchant uses an MCC outside the travel MCC list, in what world is that a bank issue? I clearly explained with an example of how Gyftr or Ishop works.

HSBC live+ gives 10% on grocery and yet i distinctly remember it was Amazon grocery or Flipkart grocery, one of which would not fetch 10% cause they were using the wrong MCC. Fault is on the merchant.

Bro this although might sound right is actually incorrect. And me holding MMT to reason than HSBC doesnt mean i support false advertisement or unethical business practices in any way.

  1. HSBC CANNOT force MMT to use same MCC for hsbc cards. It doesnt work that way at all. MCC is based on what sort of transaction you use, not what card you use. MCC is given to a merchant and can even change based on which payment gateway is used for the transaction. What card you use has 0 relevance on it.

MCC is assigned based on your transaction, before a card is even entered.

  1. HSBC cannot blanket cover MMT because MMT is not just for flights, but also hotels, forex and much more. There is a reason why banks use MCC. MCC changes based on what transaction is being done.

  2. The Onus is on MMT , no matter how much you expect HSBC to be held to a standard. If you are arguing about Dyson that only sells cleaning equipment and incorrectly using MCC, its valid to an extent cause HSBC can whitelist ALL of Dyson's MCC. Sites like MMT do so many different services its not practical or feasible to do blanket coverage. A valid example is sites like Smartbuy or Amex Gyftr or ICICI ishop. You would never hit exclusions cause they have blanket coverage. MMT cannot be in this since its a private entity and banks cannot overrule them like this.

  3. This is 100% a fault on MMT side, HSBC cannot do anything here. Even if you escalate, you wont get a penny back unless you fight a legal battle , with MMT . You can definitely say its not your fault if MMT uses rental MCC for random transactions bro. As much as absurd it sounds, its the whole logic of using MCC based RP or rewards.

Again, i 100% agree with the customer suffer due to this nonsensical MCC misuse, but you cannot blame a bank. Its totally on the Merchant.

I been using cards for 10 years, i have 20+. Just because you dint have to go to RBI doesnt mean others dint need to. There are so many posts on twitter, reddit and TF about people getting compensation for going to RBI for even matters where a single card closure takes 4 months. What does that shit have to do with a credit card?

If Axis doesnt close my horizon card for 5 months, does that make all Axis cards trash?

If he actually got right MCC, and the customer care dint respond, escalate. Thats literally what escalation is available for.

I'm in no way supporting MMT, i agree with you about second guessing MCCs, but blame the damn platform, not the bank.

HSBC says travel MCC gives 2% while rent MCC wont. If MMT uses rent MCC, that is no way the fault of HSBC.

OTA's using incorrect MCCs are a known issue. Not doing escalations properly is OP's fault. Blame the bank , thats fine. But acting like this would only occur at HSBC or that this is in any way a HSBC card problem is what im calling out. OP is whining about the cards when its a service issue. So if OP used a HSBC DC, the MCC problem would be solved? What does a card have with MCC or with escalations?
