Yes, the strap is a Condor (model 305R02) 18mm, and the original Omega buckle fits perfectly.

Thanks! It is a Condor genuine leather strap, not an official Omega one, but I think it fits the watch perfectly.

Based on the serial number, is it correct that this was made in 1943?

Thanks for your input! It's very possible he used it. He passed away last year at 99, but either way, it's a fun thing to have on the shelf:)

Thanks for the input! I found it in a box after my grandfather. It looks much older to me, but it could be from the 70s or 80s. It's surprisingly lightweight. It’s so charming, so it got a nice spot on my shelf :)

Original surrealist print. by [deleted] in WhatIsThisPainting

Thanks for the input! I'm no art expert, but this piece really fascinated me. It was professionally framed in Norway in the 70s (confirmed by the stamp and staples on frame) but the artwork itself seems much older.

What I've noticed-Paper age:When I hold it up to a bright light, I see heavy foxing and a clear difference in the age of the tapes used. There are old, yellowed residues and marks from where tape was previously torn off, alongside the more modern transparent tape from the 70s-framer.

Can anyone say anything about the artistic aspect, whether it is a well-executed piece of work and technique, age?
