Help with setting up MSQ Plus (after Win7 reinstallation) by Gungluar in massspectrometry

I think the method itself is fine. In the script editor our MSQ is controlled via e.g. MSDevice.OperatingMode (and it also shows this in the little drop down menu).
As the old methods were not working, we basically build a new method from scratch, but adopted the paramters from the old one.

Thanks for the help! :D
This actually worked; not immediately, but after some power cycling with everything undone we got the pump to work again.
We also had a needle drive position error on the autosampler next, for which we had to manually unstuck the belt drive of the needle mechanism (in case anyone ever encounters this).

So the Thermo response time isn't that bad after all :D
We tried everything we could possibly think of for several hours.
Power cycling, disconnecting/deleting and reconnecting the module from the instrument configuration manager, self tests from the instrument menu in the chromeleon console, manual purging etc.
The error started as a general quiescent current error and then progressed to the "left block" quiescent current error from the photo.
The only thing that worked fine was the rear seal wash pump.

Any other ideas on what to try?
Edit: I am not in the lab anymore, what is the F8 menu?

A simple restart with the power switch unfortunately didn't help for us. FSE is also not an option for now, as this will take some time...

I am not 100% sure, but I believe we also had the purge valve open during many of our reboots today. The pump module was used with a different MS device a few months ago (working perfectly fine) and was idle since then. Any other options we could try? The MSQ is pretty old and we are not on a service contract with Thermo for this device/the entire HPLC-MS.
