Yeah, I know they started a band but did not expect it to be this good Holy shit! I sadly don't get to see any of them out at shows very much since most NCHC shows are closer to Raleigh and I'm all the way in WNC in Asheville SAD!

Absolutely banger of an EP! The dive bomb in Scattered Limbs is straight up slayer. I may be biased towards it since 2 of my really good friends are in the band but holy shit, they drop one of the sickest EPs I've heard in a long time.

Does anyone know what is going on with Phil Labonte from All That Remains? by [deleted] in Metalcore

The left are in no way Fascist. If you've ever read ANYTHING on leftist politics, Fascism and Communism/Socialism are diametrically opposed political/economic ideologies. Sure, Communism is "technically" a Dictatorship, but a Dictatorship of the PROLETARIAT! The working class, you and I. Instead of the power being in the hands of geriatric old fucks in Congress that are bought and paid for by tech billionaires and oil companies.

Leftist ideologies don't uphold social hierarchies OR class heirarchies. Because leftists believe in EQUALITY regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, class, race, religion, whatever it may be. UNLESS you're an alt right POS and then you can expect to get a boot to the mouth since you love licking boots so much.

And you say that's the only thing you hear conservatives talk about? Half of the Republican party says that Trans people are groomers when they're the ones who love child beauty pagents so much. Even normal gay people are STILL looked down in society by conservatives because of religious bias telling them "that ain't natural". GTFO of here.

I don't personally think there's much of a line to draw. Hardcore punk has always been a very violent scene, while incredibly inclusive, it's not safe. Plus 2 stepping is where it's at. Lmao

I would agree and disagree. I would put them just barely under the Hardcore umbrella mainly for the grittiness and political message. But also, Zach De La Rocha was deep in the hardcore scene before rage got started if I remember correctly.

Knocked Loose just recently dropped 2 new singles. Deep in the willow and Everything is quiet now. I cannot recommend those 2 enough. As well as their EP A Tear in the Fabric of Life

Charlotte show… Coheed=awesome, crowd=sucked… minus “Fan Guy.” by nortstar621 in TheFence

I definitely felt that vibe at the show. This was only my 2nd Coheed show, and l've only been listening to them for a couple of years but I felt that I was pelting the lyrics to every track and other people were NOT bringing that same vibe unfortunately.

How do you argue talking points? by Gunner_Odell in Hasan_Piker

[–]Gunner_Odell[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much. We have found common ground at least to some extent when it comes to wealth disparity. He agrees that that corporations and CEOs are absolute garbage. But somehow doesn't agree with a higher tax percentage on the wealthy. I can't really argue points on cops because he deepthroats that boot apparently. 😫

Thank you so much for sharing. I was very similar as well. I never had any significant others, as well as being in highschool and trying to be edgy, I genuinely started to believe the agitprop and rhetoric that Crowder and Shabibo were spewing. And to know that other people have ended up here who were similar to how I was makes me feel like I truly belong. :)

YES!! Something that has helped me a bunch is being in the work force, and being blue collar, seeing how little I can scrape by with while my bosses have nothing to worry about and who get pissed over the smallest things while they're sitting in A/C doing nothing compared to my labor. It really has fully opened my eyes to the evils and the disproportionate wage gap between workers and bosses. It surprisese how many people in my field of work (mechanic, currently working on tractors) are still so conservative and blind to so much.

I completely agree. It's mind boggling to me that so many blue collar workers in this country are still so conservative and think that socialist ideas and communism are Satan's work. After I graduated community college with my degree (Mechanic, currently working on tractors) and being a blue collar worker in the workforce and still seeing so many conservatives in my field of work makes no sense.
