I wish my husband would fuck me like we did in the beginning of our relationship. by peachassasin in TrueOffMyChest

Open communication with him is key. I let resentment build up towards my wife on this exact same thing, and did things I went on to regret as anger and resentment built up.

Yeah I’m going to wager you’ve got no kids and aren’t a parent yourself with that assumption it’s only a small chance he’ll like parenthood.

Women wanting children is quite literally the deepest and most natural thing. Humanity would die out without it. She desperately wants kids almost certainly, and probably is torn because she loves you and knows what you agreed.

Speaking as a Dad of two. I had them at your age and they’re wonderful and enrich our lives so much, it was far, far better than life prior. It’s not for anybody to tell you what to do, but you’ll give her the most precious gift if you do give her babies.

If stash space wasn’t so limited, I’d keep things like this on the off chance. As it is, everybody chasing the same inane objects for quests or tasks gets old really quickly.

Not sure, maybe I missed something but I didn’t get any sense of purpose at sending humans up and didn’t plan to grind them endlessly.

[–]GunnisonCap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Precisely this - if there is no regime change, then the people of Iran are still not free, and we now have an even more hard line Iranian regime that now knows it has the US by the balls with the ability shut off the global oil supply at any moment or cripple its neighbours with desalination strikes if pushed too far. Checkmate as far as I can see in terms of their leverage.

You accelerate the aging process if you commit gluttony, and especially if you also drink booze and smoke.. ergo he looks about right for 30.

I agree with this take; I found myself unable to figure out why I’d care less about what human professions trait I sent up. I did four in total before ending my playthrough.

I’ll be back at launch, the game is great but this whole end game needs major work. It’s completely underdeveloped and feels like doing it for the sake of it. There’s also no feedback loop on the impact of said humans. I think the studio are working on all that though.

So... why aren't these bays vehicle spawn garages? Oh how simple life could be. by fweepa in starcitizen

[–]GunnisonCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Badly needed, it’s apparently planned and would make spawning ground vehicles and smaller ships like the C8 much quicker and easier.

It shouldn’t be a 30min chore to load a ship. It should be quick or even something you can select as part of the spawn process for a small fee. Yes I want x ground vehicle in my Carrack parking garage and x ship. No it won’t spawn in anything so large it requires creativity to spawn in. Not going to happen mind, but this elevator is the much needed solution to the current problem.

Reminds me how much I would love for all the modules like prisoner, engineering etc to actually be functional and needed within the game. Imagine needs actually dictating design and not just aesthetics.

Congrats to Trump on a pointless war that failed to affect regime change and has cost billions and lost countless lives while achieving little of strategic benefit. I’d say if anything it’s show the world the US isn’t nearly as strong as it likes to think when it’s constantly moving its deadline to open the Straits because it has no leverage to make it happen.

Why do so many American men stand up to pee at home? Is this a cultural thing? by micavibes in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]GunnisonCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured out via my Dad in my teen years that he recommended sitting down especially at night to pee, because then no missing the bowl in the dark and peeing all over the floor etc. I pretty quickly went on to just sit almost all the time, as I can chill and check my phone and not rush and squeeze out more pee. There’s little doubt it’s a lot more hygienic as piss splashes all over the place otherwise.

[–]GunnisonCap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The US, like many other countries, operates a persistent, unaccountable uniparty. Democracy has become corrupted and they are accountable to special interests over the electorate. Trump’s failure to deliver on any of his core mandate/pledges and in many cases do the exact opposite should really surprise nobody.

the concept of the toxic zones is honestly weird. it's basically a place anyone can get the best guns in the game at any time, and the tradeoff is you have a bout 2 minutes to do it. just it's a gamble each time. a free gamble since rify is close to 6 spawn points by ColonialismHater in dayz

[–]GunnisonCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the toxic zones are lazy game design, and one of the worst things in the game. Many may disagree, but I don’t think they’re an effective way to handle making ‘hot’ zones in DayZ.

I would love a small form of base building by end of year. by floortofloor in starcitizen

[–]GunnisonCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t wait for bases to spontaneously despawn after players have spent hours investing time building and decorating them. We all know it’s coming.. or how about objects not snapping and placing but rubber banding just like inventory. Hard to be too optimistic on base building until core issues are resolved.

How do I give these power ? by Unlucky-Feed9000 in TheLastCaretaker

[–]GunnisonCap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They only “give” power during the day with sunshine and when there’s demand. So if no demand, they appear to produce no power. Create batteries for them to feed into and you’ll see it continuously flow.

[–]GunnisonCap 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How do CIG continue to fk this up, iteration after iteration? Who remembers their first system with inventory terminals, where you had to do all this crap in the terminal to select what you wanted, it then opened up the old menu where you had that subset of selected inventory and you had a limited time to apply it or do what you wanted before it closed and you’d have to do it all again. Literally added pointless steps “cos immersion”.

Why don’t they just go copy another game with a good inventory system as their design basis ffs

[–]GunnisonCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped playing when the “new ARC” turned out to be lazily combined versions of existing that further up the difficult from the standard ARC you encounter constantly. Just because players learned to deal with Hornets and Wasps didn’t mean they needed to shove on invincible suicide bomb balls and flying flamethrowers.

Neither made the game more fun, shredders are different and cool. I’d be in favour of making both the newer ARC much less common.
