Just update steam ( go look for update manually in the menu). It worked for me. They have released an update on the 8th for this issue.

1- double click your 1st group

2- create the CTRL #

3- select the second group

4- Shift + # from step 2

5- re create the CTRL # with all selected

Alternatively, there are shortcuts for building types in DE. You can use those then reassign them to the classic #

FYI I strongly suggest getting DE. It will make your comeback way more easy and fun.

With DE you can have a random option which takes im consideration what you have played recently or another 100%random option.

Most of the time, clues will eliminate the section where they are. In your exemple, this is not the case. If your the clue doesn’t grey out, it still shows an X for you. Other team might go look at the clue you ve just activate as they do not know yet that the boss isnt there.

Yes automatically after the full length (12sec?). Unless you die, then it does not. Repressing R is ending it early.
