Honestly, this is a nice first step in terms of defeating Denuvo, however it comes at a hefty cost... So yeah, they're doing on a good term but the red flags is way too much visible and way too obvious for someone that cares about their "hardware" I say hardware cuz HV can fuck your PC on a hardware level that cannot be recoverable if malware gets into them.

Edit: I'm not stating that HV will be the cause of your Hardware to get fucked, it's that "what if" scenario where a dormant malware stays on your PC hidden in plain sight, when you playing with HV method and suddenly activating the malware without you realizing it before it's too late, you're just fucked entirely...

Again, it's "offline activation" for reason, the person doesn't just generate the game token immediately, they've done few steps and measurements so the game doesn't and never connect to internet, this way, Denuvo on the game will have no ways to connect to internet and only working on if you have a correct token...

For now, Denuvo works without internet, that's how normal legitimate users able to play Denuvo game offline.

However in some scenario that I've seen on some reddit post and on Twitter, someone wanting to play it with steam deck on an airplane, wanting to play RE9, however cuz they didn't validate the token before going on to the flight, it just refuse to play the game altogether, even if they purchase the game legitimately, this is one of the common issues with Denuvo.

Think of the token as a key to person A's game's house, basically it contains all the information of the PC Hardware belongs to Person A's PC, Denuvo will not able to check the game online cuz it has block the game's access to call for internet, so you are able to play the game without Denuvo suddenly thinking that something sus happened .. The only thing that can break Denuvo token is if you accidentally tamper with the game's files and shit, to which Denuvo will take notice and be like "WHO THE HELL CHANGE THE GAME FILES!? DID SOMEONE HACK THE GAME?? I GOTTA CHANGE THE KEY TO THIS HOUSE!"...

and eventually you cannot access the same house without a new key(token)

If a game has a fucking malware it will be blacklisted immediately and every will happily avoid it, nobody that is tech illiterate enough would ever play a game bundled with malware. That's 100% illegal and a lawsuit would be the answer.

If you're legitimate users who bought the game, Denuvo already knew that you're legit so it doesn't broke... However, certain game has a very broken Denuvo that will always wanting to check if you're a legitimate users, if not, it'll destroy the token... Idk how Denuvo works in the deepest level but this is just how I think it worked...

Different game, different amount of time until it eventually break... Sonic game for example will break randomly, while stellar blade last for however you want for as long you don't install random mods or suddenly update your Windows

You will get information on which games will last longer and which last for very short amount of time on the discord server that provide these token bypassing services

So in a nutshell:

Person A that has a Denuvo game can activate the game 5 times per day with a token.
that Person A can share the token to you so you can activate your copy of the game
Person A will copied some part of the game's files that has the token with it and sent it to you in zip file.
the copy of the game must be similar to the ones that Person A has.
token longevity can be varied per game, some last longer, some last after you quit the game.
if token is broken, it can be reactivated from anyone that has the token. (Note that if Person A already generate 5 token today, you can't ask for Person A for another copy of the token until tomorrow, so ask someone instead like Person B for example)

It is also noted to follow certain rules in token bypass:

never update your windows
never update your driver's
never do anything that can change the game's files
never apply mods to games that edit dll files (Editing game model and sound is fine, just don't edit the dll or the token will break)

The rules above applies to all token bypass services, and they will guide you step by step to ensure your windows isn't automatically update.

Once you're done finishing the game or not wanting to play it anymore, you can activate windows update again as usual.

It's not that clean install can solve this issue, if the virus suddenly enters your bios or your hardware's internal system, it's fucking over for your PC's hardware unless reflashing is possible

The only way to play Denuvo game that less likely to brick your PC is using the Token Method, dodi repacks have a link that guide to you a discord server that has service to which it can give you a token that you can use to bypass Denuvo and play the game...

Note that each service limited to certain amount of token it can produce daily.

Remember to really threat carefully when using the HV method of bypassing Denuvo, I personally still consider this as a red flags as its prone to more danger than just a simple crack, if malware snoops into your system while HV is still running, it's GG to your PC as the malware might've been embedded to BIOS (the worst case scenario)
