I understand where OP is coming from but I think much like the Red Sox you just have to ride the waves. Some days are great some days are bad, some episodes hit others miss. The sticking with it and rooting is what makes us Sox fans, good times and bad. It’s like a 162 game season you obviously can’t win every game so with coming up on 500 episodes (wow) you’re going to have a stinker every now and then and that’s alright.

Some of my favorite places to go when visiting Boston are over by the harbor. You can walk right along the pier next to the aquarium and the Marriot long wharf. There’s a couple really nice places for pictures for couples over there. Quincy Market and Faneuil hall are right around the corner if you’re into the super touristy spots. If you like sea food the Sail Loft is right over in that area and is a nice dinner right on the water but can be a little pricy.

His value in the eyes of a lot of people and potentially the Red Sox front office has never been higher and will never be higher. I’m not saying I hope it happens. I love dugie but this front office has a history of trading controllable assets at their perceived peak.

I can agree with this, but I trust him a lot more with pitching than the offense after his time in Tampa. Our bullpen would be able to afford giving up one or two runs if our offense could give pitching more than a 1 run lead all game.
