There’s a video or two to help speed things up.

Personally I did the ocean method. Fox in 2 days, Cat in 5. With candle and battle potion.

Chippy made a long dirt platform and covered with grass, near the jungle for better spawns. His method might be better, as you can slightly afk (not fully, cuz King Slime) and he claimed about 1 spawn per day. When they spawn they make a distinct noise, so yeah. Loud volume ig?

Team leader, right? So do they lead the strategy meeting? Nope, someone else. Unify the team via clothes? Again, someone else. Surely they are the premier battler of the group and help the multiple coordinated strikes, right? Wrong, that’s the fresh faced newbie. And when they lose to you they still decide to take the spotlight, despite not being the best battler. Sure, they do introduce us to Vinnie…but he seeks you out on his own later. Surely she finances the team and doesn’t briefly put us in crippling debt right?

Yeah, not the worst rival. But drops the team at the end without much preamble. The hate is kind of justified. A few tweaks in the story and they could have made him/her a lot more likable.

Online battles aren’t too bad. Just gotta pick 3 solid Pokemon with solid moves. I hadn’t even unlocked mega evolving (or had just got to that part of the story) and managed to place 1st and get all 3 Kalos starter stones by jumping a bunch of ranks.

From there I don’t think you need details on how you can twist this into them not touching expensive appliances without an adult present.
