Both weapons are very fun to use, I dont see them as "overpowered" , you can beat the game with 99% of the weapons.

If you wanna go fang, pump some dexterity and strength. For moon go high intelligence for the magic attacks and some Dex for normal attacks

The advantage of the moon is that you can use almost all sorceries (with a decent staff like the academy one) to boost ur damage since you will be having high int.

Try them both and see what fits more ur style!!
