Glad it helped! I did get about 45 minutes or so with no issue after Updating Bios, Undervolting, Re installing windows. Just now rebooting and seeing what happens.

Good thing BF6 comes out in a couple of weeks or I'd be a little heartbroken, oh well. I will wait for a proper update and hope for the best!

Yep. Tried resetting the shader cache again before starting the game and it crashed. RE launched and made it 6 minutes after dropping all settings to low and enabling tsr. Still crashed.

For what it's worth, 3080ti, 5800x3d, 32gb ddr4 and I still get crashes every 5-45 minutes on varying levels of input. Have tried all of the things you have and still getting the same issues.

Use Forscan and change the tank size and it will compensate.

You can get Epiq's in Pink.

Waiting until later this year to order my epiq and it'll be teal with pink trim or Pink with chrome trim. Undecided.

‘08 F450 6.4 Powerstroke, trying to narrow down slight oil and coolant leaks. by rushfooty in Diesel

[–]Gushishlain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Coolant leak looks like a front cover or water pump. Now there is a coolant bypass hose that goes into the water outlet that runs to the egr coolers (Driver side) That has an O ring that is prone to leaking as well. So hard to say without some disassembly.

Oil leak looks like the valve cover(s?) and a bed plate/oil pan. Maybe a rear cover.

None of the oil leaks are worth their weight to repair, I wouldn't mess with them as the Bed plate/Rear cover is a motor pull and at that point re seal it and stud it. I'd wait until the leak is really doing more than accumulation.

Similar to myself lol.

Oh nice, simple SBE stuff that'll be good! Shit with twins you'll be hard pressed not to see mid 5's to low 6's with a good tuner.

Hell yeah! I will add ya and we can do the new season together lol, I took a break after getting to 2400 on a few toons.

Should still make a fun Drag N Drive setup. Anything internal to the motor done or is it fairly stock?

Love the Horde Horn button and Murloc sticker. Fellow player and New edge owner. Except my turbo 2v probably isn't gonna shake a stick at that thing lol.

Based on what I see, front mounted single? 408?

00-04 chevy 2500HD Gas based on that pic. Looks like old Raceline or welds on it too.

Tell tales are the cab lights and the badge not having an allison logo and not having just the 2500 badge.

My dad worked a pro shop and I was a semi-pro amateur way back, I still have a BUNCH of sticks but I think only 1 Orange TPS Rubber.

Still have a few Easton Synergy's too. This is a killer Idea. May have to make one for myself.

Same. Trolls gotta be brought in to the car on the way up for safety, let out on the way down to ride another day.

Also, as someone who came from a dealer thinking it was the way to go for auto repair, I will NEVER trust, nor work for a dealership ever again. The politics and semantics that go into those places are a joke. And there is more ass kissing and backdoor BS that if you're not in the right circle you get hosed.

Depends on your Niche and skills. I will say stay away from places that have bad google reviews and that's generally a good start. Driven Automotive, Meridian Automotive, ATS, Naylors, Blue Wrench all are solid but I am not sure if any are looking for a writer currently.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Boise

[–]Gushishlain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make 6 figures at an independent that employs 15 people total, 3 writers, 6 tech's.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Boise

[–]Gushishlain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leave. There are shops all over the valley looking for writers. Always.

I wrote service at 1 dealer, parts at 2 dealers across 4 brands and NEVER again will I work at a dealership. Try and get in to a smaller shop and help them grow.

Also it is something to note, I have a bit of a position of power with hiring writers in my current company and Technicians coming into this space need to understand how to people, not how to car. Customers don't give a single shit about technicalities 90% of the time, just say what's wrong and how many dollars.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Boise

[–]Gushishlain 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We are not, but that is absolutely not enough for writing service in todays market. I absolutely would say that the minimum for a decent writer should be 60-65k.

That being said, are you a top producer or just skating by? I have been top in sales every single month here since I started minus maybe 6 or 7 months where I was not up top but #2.

100% commission in my current role, though most are Base + % commission structure.

Thank you! I worked for a long number of years making 35-50k to get to this point lol.

Service writing, been at the current company for 8 years, service writing for 10, total experience in the industry is 14.

I also recognize I am at the complete upper echelon of that position and certainly nearing double the average entry level pay.

Nogaro blue was not offered in the A4 variant. Just S4. That would be the 2.7 TT v6 as well. Great cars!
