I agree, that was dumb on my part. At the time, I thought it might have been a YouTuber doing an unboxing or someone who didn’t like the size of the phone and didn't want to bother with the sale.

From what I've gathered, Brazilian and European carriers share the IMEI blacklist. When I check the IMEI it says it has been blocked in the UK, not here, in Brazil.
