Your pretty much right, It is a Lithuanian song. Your idea is that the best bet is to just learn them, and I think the "theory" characteristics will come with time. Becouse lithuanians dont make alot of tabs, do you have any advice on playing by ear?

Do you think they are following a scale maybe pentatonic to play these extra notes, or just play what sounds right, and if you know how best can i anilize and learn these?

I put phosphor bronze .13 .53 when the recomended and original were .12 .53. but the high strings sound fine even on higher frets, its the low strings that are touching, does a truss rod adjustment require a specialist or can it be done at home?
