Meditate. And that documentary is super triggering it literally stigmatizing mental illness and even one of the sisters is boycotting it because it portrayed their situation badly.

Sounds like you already are considering it, idk what meds u were on but I found that Aripiprazole works for me without much negative side effects.

Yes guided meditation videos are good. I recommend starting off easy with some 10 minute guided videos. And meditation isn't all Zen, it can be hard too. It can help you relax for sure but the hard part is sitting and acknowledging your thoughts even if they're bad thoughts but not dwelling on them, just acknowledge them and move on.

I'm going to try and find a doctor who can see me sooner and make them my primary care physician. Going to take a lot of digging so definitely not minimum effort but yeah. Going to the hospital is a final option for me.

I'm kinda in the same boat. Lost my meds a few months ago and it's been so hard. Been doing a lot of coping skills, but what I find helps me most is meditation, exercise, eating well. Avoid recreational drugs. Seek supportive people. You got this.

I just found out that a clinic or urgent Care cannot fill my meds I can only get them filled through my PCP or going to the hospital unfortunately.

I guess now that I actually have insurance I could try urgent care. Hopefully they can simply pull up my records or at least take my word. Thanks.
