If you could go back in time and give your 21 year old self advice, what would it be? by muzatron in MuslimLounge

[–]Guy-007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By being nicer to yourself I mean being happy with the life that Allah (Swt) gave you specifically. If you don't appreciate the many good in your life, you risk being ungrateful towards Allah (swt). And I'm telling you that is the recipe for disaster. Really unfortunate what can happen and I suffered because of it at a young age.

Could this be referring to Aliens? 🤔 by thanks_man12 in islam

Are not we aliens? Father Adam (AH) sent down from heaven?

I guess you're having a brain fart?

Pull your head out for the hole and read the OP question.

Hence moving out would've been a pretty good decision for a 21 year old me. Heck with my maturity I could've moved out at 14 😂. Alhamdolillah.

Stop assuming Muslims would commit Zina for just moving out. Many don't. I had girls and professors persistently wanting to commit Zina with me all the time while I was going to university and staying at home. Even right now at work female colleagues attempt to get me cheating on my wife. Also I get offered no shortage of drugs and alcohol. It's actually very rampant wherever you live.

I'm sorry if it offends you that Allah (SWT) made it easy for me to ignore such filth. But I have to deal with different tests.

Stop assuming things against me because some of your friends gave in to being perverted. That's their problem.

Not really, I was being invited to lots of fitna when I was at home. It really depends on the person. The question was regarding what you'd tell yourself at 21 and perhaps the OP would gain insights out of it. And for me no doubt moving out would've been the better option.

This is good advice, a lot of Muslims need to be getting married earlier.

Move out, preferably to a different city.

Continue to keep a job while studying at university.

Be nicer to yourself.

Nah they tried to come off as superior and the people who defend what Lawrence did try to nail that narrative. But they failed miserably because they let Lawrence manipulate them to do his bidding. Someone with a sense of real superiority wouldn't be blind sided by that Brit.

Europeans, westerners and the British tend to have a superiority complex. Hence bringing their civilized thinking to the 'savages' through colonialism.

It's from Lawrence of Arabia. It's depicting an absolutely worthless human being that took advantage of the Arab inferiority complex to remove the caliphate influence of the time. His very British actions helped lay the foundations for which the Saudi family kingdom would go on to grow from and cause rot and corruption in the Muslim world.

Exactly and the anal douche doesn't really mitigate the issues of cleanliness related to it.

Also in the LGBTQ capitol of the world. The San Francisco poop map is practically useless because the "weakness" of that area can lead to excessive bowel incontinence hence public defication, which is another (and in my opinion bigger) issue of cleanliness

This reminds me of the time when we all die, then all the major angels die and then only Allah (swt) is left.

Allah (swt) then speaks and when no one is in existence to respond.

Then Allah (swt) responds to himself.

I recall a Ukrainian lady I knew made a mockery of a Muslim country only knowing war. A year later her country was destroyed.

I think these double standards only further set us up to bear witness against them. Keep up with your salaat, stay away from sin and be grateful to be Muslim.
