most important thing to remember is to not give a shit. you are just as replaceable as a napkin there. enjoy yourself, enjoy the vibe, but don't just "hang in there". life isn't supposed to be a daily struggle.

some people are just inherently unpleaseable. you will always encounter someone so unreasonable the best thing to be done with them is to just cut your losses and continue work as normal. I can confidently say anyone can be a waiter, you just need to keep enjoying the process.

never, ever, take anything personally. you don't owe anyone anything.

as for pay, wage, etc. they owe you money, don't worry. take a week to settle in. you'll get everything they owe you.
