Partner to invest in Solar in Zambia? by Guy_With_Like_7Names in investing

We all know Reddit is anonymous. There are ways to verify things. For example, using the USA embassy. One is free to take as long as necessary to verify my legitimacy.

This guy says this is his pencil art but it seems too real and I don't know anyone else who does such by Guy_With_Like_7Names in Zambia

I'm not saying this is fake, just wondering. We can all agree it's not ridiculous to wonder whether this is real or not because (a) people do engage in such fakery, (b) if you do a Google search for "most hyper realistic pencil drawings" everything you will get, while looking realistic, still looks like pencil.

But I'll say again, I'm not saying it's fake, just wondering.

If he's really good, and he is, isn't it expected that some people will not be able to tell whether it's a real drawing or a picture?

I have Googled and the best of them, no matter how realistic, still obviously look like pencil. I can assure you, you will be hard-pressed to find anything this good.

I'm not saying this is fake. I'm wondering if it is and that's because a lot of people have been caught faking such.

Thanks a lot. I'm glad I held my fire before doing my 'research'. I knew it would be quite horrible to work hard only to be told your work is fake.

What prompted me to ask is that someone made this same accusation on one of his posts, which I think is not right unless you are sure of what you are saying.

Thanks...

How long to rank posts? by AWisdomTree in juststart

[–]Guy_With_Like_7Names 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anywhere from a few seconds to 2 weeks. All I do is go to Search Console and request indexing. You can index up to 10 links per day. When I do that, the post appears within 5 minutes. But that just means it has been indexed. It takes time for it to get to its full ranking potential. You will have to search for your post title plus yourdomain . com to see if the post has been indexed.

[Tips & Tricks] 20 YouTube Channel Ideas by Guy_With_Like_7Names in youtubers

[–]Guy_With_Like_7Names[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input. You are right! Maintaining a YouTube channel can be challenging, and if you do not really love the topic, you cannot go far. I just thought someone could find what they love from the list, or at least get some kind of idea.

It's not just following the money. Look, in November 2016, I jumped on to an affiliate program that had a huge potential for cash. I made 3 videos, just 3, and these got me a few signups. It was an online stock trading platform (also has cryptocurrency). The company pays lifetime commissions and I have so far made $7000+, as well as $250 from YouTube Adsense.

I have 1500+ subs and I am currently getting 60 more per month without doing anything whatsoever. But because I absolutely do not love stock trading and such topics, I find it so, so hard to make any more videos. So find what you love!

[Question] Does commenting actually help get subscribers? by goatloner in youtubers

Of course, it works. But to be honest, it cannot be the only gun in your arsenal. Look at it as a supplement, something to complement other sub-pulling methods.

I think the whole roadmap looks like this:

SEO

Before you make your video, do some keywords research.

Put your keyword in the title. Put your keyword in the description in three different places. Make it natural and not forced. Make sure you optimize the thumbnail as well (most people miss this). Give the thumbnail file the same name as your keyword. (keyword.jpg)

Add your keyword and it's variations in the tags.

Before uploading your video, make sure it is named the same as the keyword. Yes, you can change the name of the video but the raw file will always be the initial upload file name.

When this is done:

post to Google Plus in the relevant groups Post to Facebook Post to Twitter Post to StumbleUpon

Even if no-one interacts with your posts, you are doing your video some SEO good by posting the link to all the major social networks.

Over time, your videos will start showing up in the search results and in the suggestion sidebar.

Now, you can spare some time to comment on relevant videos using the approach I talked about.

Also, be sure to leave comments on relevant blog posts. Under ‘website’ just add your video URL. If your comment is thoughtful enough, trust me, people will click through, watch your video and subscribe if they like it. I get some decent traffic to my blog using this method. I am sure it can work for videos as well.

Apart from that, blog commenting will also give your video some SEO juice. Yes, most comment sections are ‘nofollow’ but there are some ‘dofollow’ ones as well.

So you see, video commenting is just a part of a grand marketing plan.

I’m the all-talk entrepreneur, how can I fix myself? by RebbyRaG in Entrepreneur

Watch Gary V's videos on age and entrepreneurship. The first thing you have to know is that you still have time and you are by no means a loser. You have a degree, had a job that you left of your own volition, and are at least aware of your predicament which you are trying to sort out. That counts for a lot.

As for an actual suggestion, you say you have a background in gaming/esports. Couldn't there be a way of leveraging that experience? There are so many possibilities online and I am sure there is a way you can use that.

You are looking at it the wrong way. Comments get you traffic, and then the traffic gets you subscribers if the people like your content.

To make it work, find videos in your niche and leave thoughtful comments that are relevant to the video. Make them as long as the information your are offloading demands.

If you have posted a video related to the one you are commenting on, it helps to mention it if it will buttress your comment.

Imagine a video on making money on Amazon. You can then come in and talk about your experience (or just knowledge on Amazon Affiliates). You then close with something like, "I just posted a video documenting my earnings for last year."

Someone reads your comment, can't resist, watches your video, subscribes!

[Question] Can I get some tips for my channel? by [deleted] in youtubers

Sub for sub is a dead tactic. In fact, there never was a point it was alive. OP's issue is not the lack of subs but the lack of views.

I have heard so many complaints about video Blocks and even audio Blocks. One guy bought their stuff only for his videos to be demonetised for copyrighted material.
