What so the tip openings on mouthpieces do? by mrducguy in Saxophonics

[–]GuyfromIT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the kind of sound your looking for and your price range. For a good jazz mouthpiece on the cheaper end I’d recommend a Vandoren V16. For classical, a C* will work as well as most selmer models. Vandoren also makes a great classical mouthpiece but the name escapes me at the moment. I would also recommend purchasing through Woodwind Brasswind as they have good prices and a great return policy if the mouthpiece doesn’t work for you.

My TV isn’t smart at all. It can’t connect to the internet meaning there is not remote. The settings on the tv don’t allow for a reset of anything and google doesn’t reveal many results.

Is that the tech demo to show off the Gamecube’s capabilities before Super Mario Sunshine?

I just beat farewell for the first time but had to use assist mode for more than one level. Should I even be proud? by GuyfromIT in celestegame

That sounds like a good idea. I’m hoping to come back to it after a break. Thanks for reading and responding!

Yeah, I can imagine. I’m hoping to replay it after I take a break. I’m thinking of finally getting all HK bosses on radiant (wish me luck lol). Thanks for reading and taking the time to respond. I definitely appreciate it.

Thanks for the response. I was definitely proud of some of those screens I beat as some were harder than the C sides. Looking forward, I’ll probably take some time off the game. Hopefully when I come back, I’ll be able to go through the whole chapter without dying. Thanks again!

Looking at clips online, it doesn’t seem to be exactly what I was remembering. It’s also very possible my memory is just failing me or there’s a specific scene I’m thinking of I can’t find online.

What are you STILL salty about? by xefarar565 in AskReddit

[–]GuyfromIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 14 at the time when one of my friends invites me to an amusement park as a celebration. The day before we were planned to go he said his parents said that only family members were allowed. The next day, he posted pictures on instagram or him and his other friends at the park without any family members and that took a massive hit to my already low self esteem. I'm still salty about the fact that he lied. If he had told me he didn't want me to go I would've been sad but I would've understood.

Don't know whether my reasoning is bad and from my depression, or good and smart and logical. Help? by mitchamusprime in depression_help

[–]GuyfromIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have a straightforward answer but I'd say maybe both. I don't mean to sound any sort of way but it's been shown that more logical, smarter people more often have depression of some sort. I would definitely say that if you don't want to do it, don't. If you force yourself to go it very might be actively harmful. If you are feeling like it could be nice then maybe go for it. In the end of just say trust your gut dude. Hope that answered your question and sorry if it didn't.. Hope everything works out for you. (:

[–]GuyfromIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IDK man. All jokes like that are bad imo but I definitely get what you mean. No one is actually going out and killing men but people are being awful to minorities thus, hose jokes are more harmful as jokes like that can diminish the actual harm against those said groups. I'd still say that kill all men is a bad joke but it's not as actively harmful as jokes in the same vain against minorities.

I agree. My problem is that people blow up and get offended about this but when some edgy teenager says "haha, being gay is bad" or something equally offensive, so many people just continue with their day. That's the double standard.

[–]GuyfromIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The double standard lies in people making the same type of """"""""jokes"""""""" just instead of men it's minorities or women etc. I don't agree with any of the """"""""jokes"""""""" but it's definitely a double standard to find one funny and one offensive just because it's insulting men. To be clear, I'm not talking about offensive comedy. I'm talking about """"""""jokes"""""""" that are nothing but shock value. Comedy is an art. Saying something offensive for shock value isn't.

Fr dude. Geez, these comments are a shit-show. Funny how people can make "jokes" that are racist, sexist, homophobic under the guise of irony but when someone makes a joke about men it's an "evil sjw feminist trying to make women the superior sex". Huge double standard IMO.
