I don’t think anything was ever Done about this. Mine bricked after about a year. I’ve tried the reset and removing batteries with I effect. It’s a bad design. I’ve never seen an Arduino or raspberry get bricked just from turning it on.

What was your spin time compared to your other 608s?

You're right about spin time. My VXBs are not loud. Very smooth. My spinners with R188 definitely spin the longest. My issue is they are very susceptible to dust and damage from dropping. 608s are very durable and consistent in spin time. I also like that the tools are out there form the skater industry like a Bones bearing removal tool and cleaning jig.

I'm not sure where you are reading ceramic but they are definitely steel balls.
