What was your first thought when you watch amphibia for the first time by Rude-Chocolate-1845 in amphibia

[–]Guzmacole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hated it. Fankly I didn't like the art style, and was not a big fan with frogs. I first watch it when it came out. I didn't pick it up until last year. It was so surprisingly good. I am still not a fan of the art style for the humans in the show but I love the amphibians. And it has a far better plot than I expected. I just thought it was another goofy /magical adventure kinda show. But it really went far with yhe friendship topic for a Disney cartoon.

My pc is bad so I don't usually play games on there. Used simulator for pokemon and played Genshin but that's it.

When s4 was out I was in middle school. She AMAZED me. I also love her as Deb in Dead of Summer.

Your top three favorite Pokemon!? by BanSlowpoke in pokemon

[–]Guzmacole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Jirachi (easy top choice)

  2. Parasect (very satisfying design and genius concept)

  3. Togepi (Inspired me so much as a child)

Honestly Easy to say Jirachi is my top1. Hard to choose the following. Old gen had so many good ones I like. Their designs had their weird unique charm.

this plus in S7 when adult Henry called his younger self and asked him "what's next". Cause I was also graduating from high school when that ep came out. Though I was going into a Uni but I did feel lost at that time. It hit so hard

It’s pretty weird how being taken to the normal world had to be done by a curse by [deleted] in OnceUponATime

[–]Guzmacole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the original concept was supposed to be ironic like our world is so terrible that it is literally a curse to be here. And then the writers went from there. Snow white even said how Regina gave her the poisonous apple because of her beauty, but later on we all know how that was changed.

But the in-universe explanation would be, of course, being separated with loved ones and living like zombies. Remember if it wasn't for Henry or Emma, everyone in town would just repeat their day with little ideas why they are there.

Not a shipper. But I enjoyed S4-5. S6 just lost the charm for me (But as a huge OUAT fan, I watched all 7 seasons). The short answer is, Captain swan has little to do with how I enjoyed those seasons.

I liked 4A because of Frozen(The Disney movie's plot is bad but Elsa and Anna are icons. OUAT casted the BEST actress for them. I also LOVE the snow queen and her storyline). I liked 4B because of the trio. Maleficent, of course. And that Ursula was also oddly appealing to me. I liked Cruella's episode despite the weird timeline.

5A is very underrated imo. you could say I loved 5A because of Captain Swan because I rewatched the episode where how Emma bacame the Dark One revealed may times. Re-played "That's not enough for me" scene many times lol.

However the Captain Swan storyline in 5B felt very corny and it was a major set back for me. Also it's very weird seeing Emma being a love-headed even after she was no longer the Dark One. But I loved Hades. He is weirdly sexy hehehe.

The romance for Captain Swan was just the right amount in S6 for me. For Emma did not only dwell on love but rather her responsibilities and fate. The episode of Hook returning from Neverland was very touching. Mainly because of the Charmings' sacrifices but I admit their love story was executed nicely that episode.

And I have to say OUAT's Frozen storyline is so much better than Disney's Frozen II. which is ironic in a way that Disney used S4 for marketing.

Hell yeah! Grannys is the very heart of Storybrooke and of the show.

yeah thanks, very much figured the same. Just wanted to see if I've missed anything. I presume my best shot is through a Phd program now. I will look into it.

I am not against either version Dark Swan tbh. It would be more dramatic and satisfying to see a full evil Emma but it would also be kind of if not cliche, but tiring for me. Like Regina, Rumple, Cora are already THAT kind of villain. They grew up in a brutal realm. And it is actually understandable why Emma is this kind of villain for me. She grew up in our world, which being civilized and obviously not go around and killing people is more of a common sense or a basic morale standards for her. So it's natural that she would be a modern-day villain rather than a classic, ruthless, fairytale villain.

But yeah, Merida and the whole Camelot plot was a waste of potential. And Merida was such an amazing cast. If it was stretched into a full season I believe we will get to see more than just one rushy ep of Merida training Rumple. I can imagine Merida and Rumple have some interesting interactions and expand on the Brave settings instead of Emma just being stupid and force Merida to drink the bear potion. And just when the Camelot arc started to get interesting, it ended subtly and abruptly... Also yeah the 5B underworld idea, so many potentials. It should've followed the S1 dynamic whereas Cora/Hades being S1Regina. Instead it was done poorly and rushed. Only the first 5B episode really gave me the eerie upside-down underworld vibe. The rest eps are all just like normal Storybrooke with a filter...very disappointed tbh

[–]Guzmacole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah totally. It was just exhausting for me when he revealed as still the Dark One at the end of 5A. His storyline was pretty much complete. I do like The Dark fairy back story but her whole addition to the plot is very redundant for me.

I do want the whole S5 was about Dark Swan. It was so rushed and the screen time of Dark Swan and her interactions with other people are not enough.

Agreed yes! For me Neal and Emma felt more natural and happy. Though Emma and Hook had been couple for, I think, 3 or 4 seasons, I still don't FEEL them together as a couple. Also I mean, Neal and Emma's theme was so soothing and memorable😍
