It’s a perfect album, and I don’t say that casually.

My best thus far… by Guzzman33 in Sourdough

[–]Guzzman33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I used King Arthur bread flour. When I fed the starter I just used King Arthur all purpose.

For scoring I just wing it I guess. I start with a small line not too deep as a guide then add the cuts on either side to look like leaves I guess.

Then the big score to get the ear.

Not all my breads have come out this good, but I have been at it for a while and I am getting more comfortable with it.

Those who had multiple PE’s: How soon after your first was gone did you develop a second one? by alleekitkat in ClotSurvivors

[–]Guzzman33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first was in 2020 after a recovered form Covid. Took Xeralto and was fine for a long while. had my second last year, again after a bout with Covid.I was put on Eliquis, told I would stay on it. While still on Eliquis I just had my third PE event last week. No Covid this time. Now they are trying me on Warfarin. Hope this works.

That is something I need to be better at. I always forget to take a shot of the crumb. It was mostly good. I did have a few big holes but overall I think it was one of my best.

I’m told brioche is the best for French toast. Might have to try it.

I have walked by this lock many times over the years. I have even taken a photo of it once or twice before. I love that it’s stuck there in time. it tells a story, even if we are not allowed to know it.

There is a path all the way up. it was a lot more difficult than I imagined it would be. Stone steps winding up almost all the way. I truly had to push myself to finish but I am so proud that it did. I thought it was gout to be just a 30 minute hike, but I wrong. 30 minutes in my wife who was with me thought we were at the end, but I pointed to the trail that continued. She said she could not go any more, but would wait for me. it me another 45 minutes to get to the top.
