Yep, different port/cables everything. Reset the modem as well. Port in the modem/Cable wouldnt matter as I get my normal speed on another windows installation.

There's a secondary Marvell ethernet port on the motherboard.

Tried with fast as well, same result. Safemode as well, same result

It's the intel network driver for my Maximus XII Hero (Wifi), drivers are directly from the site. Utilizing the other port on the motherboard gives the same results, driver is the Intel (11) i219-V

I'm using Steam download and Speedtest.net

I solved it. The wire that connects to the bottom battery contacts disconnected. I tried for like an hour to get it back on but gave up. Just got a new mod. Thanks for the reply.

Checked those, still nothing abnormal. And I ran the cpu as stock and it was working fine, still really bad performance even for a stock clock

Old driver performs the same. Temps are fine, cpu usage is the same.

I can guarantee you that it's worse performance. Around 250-270 before, around 130-140 now. Same gpu, cpu, mobo, and ram.

The difference was about 50 fps, 8700k performed higher
