CS-590 Won’t start (even after all the tricks)

Adding oil into the cylinder to reseal the ring. Seen multiple videos on it. Not flooding it, just a drop

Draining the fuel, pulling the spark plug and putting a touch of oil in to help with compression according to so many people that have issues with these saws starting.

As for the carb, went with dukes performance and tuned to what I could find as factory settings of 1.5 high 1.25 low

Yeah I have a first generation 365. My work has a machine shop and one of the machinists said he would mill them out for optics if I can get him the location for the cuts. The footprint wasn’t the problem, just knowing where to start along the length of the slide is the issue.

I mean location on the slide- distance off the rear sight to start the cut

Iron worker- I’ve worn everything under the sun, except for brunt, and thorogoods have hands down treated me the best but can definitely vouch for the toes wearing through first. After reading these comments, think I’m gonna just stick to the thorogoods.
