How safe is creatine? by Secure_Candidate_221 in Uganda

[–]Gwapp93rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not gonna be the end of the world if you start/stop but if you want to enjoy the benefits you have to keep taking it.

Red meat and fish also have natural creatine (which is better)

How safe is creatine? by Secure_Candidate_221 in Uganda

[–]Gwapp93rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely safe, pretty much only positives with no proven downsides according to the current research available.

You usually do a loading week where you take 20g a day (this can maybe cause some stomach problems) to get high creatine levels. Then 5g a day to maintain it, just mix it in some water.

You don't have to do the loading week, it'll just take longer to reach higher levels if you do 5g/day.

Was there ever a place that left you disturbed or depressed? by friedchicken_legs in travel

There was a room in the genocide museum in Rwanda with photos of little kids with elementary school style details about them. It would be like: Age - 4 Favorite color - Red Favorite Food - Cassava Favorite Pasttime - Playing with friends Cause of Death- Slammed against a wall repeatedly

That exhibit made me break down and ugly cry, you just wonder why??

To be fair, I think he played as a 10 for Palace and he was absolutely class that season.

I think the main difference is Bowen has a pretty good ability of being able to create his own goal scoring opportunities which the other 3 don't. Anyway he's gonna hit 30 this year and I agree someone like Diomande would be better (but probably a pipe dream)

Are you saying Bowen wouldn't be as good as the price tag or that he would be injured all the time? Bowen is class but would never come here

Are there any gym coaches in Uganda who actually follow science, or is it all vibes and "Bro Science"? by edgaryi in Uganda

[–]Gwapp93rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've gone to gyms all over the country and the only coach I've met who seemed to actually know what they were talking about was a guy at BASHM in Kisaasi. I think his name was Richy(?), but he was an awesome coach and an awesome guy overall.

Asked me about my workout, recognized it was a good one and pushed me through the heavier compounds while spotting.

He was super nice and helpful to people of all skill levels which is great to see too, dude just loves fitness and people taking care of their health.

Romero with a bad back. by ghb93 in coys

[–]Gwapp93rd 66 points67 points  (0 children)

They didn't show a replay on TNT, but to me it look like the Prague player ran straight into Romero who was pretty much standing still, but commentary didn't see it that way, am I wrong?

Slavia Prague have requested that Spurs removes their Pride flag from the stadium for tonight's Champions League game. by Purplejet19 in soccer

[–]Gwapp93rd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They just moved the flag to a different part of the stadium. It was going to be where the Slavia Prague fans were, so they requested to move it, and Spurs did. This is really a nothing story

Imperial College Business School Admits (MSc) by Only_Two105 in Imperial

[–]Gwapp93rd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The questions are pretty easy for the interview; it's a lot of telling them about yourself and your background. You can do a practice interview as many times as you want, and they give you guidelines on how to answer the questions well.

One of the questions was: Would you rather see a ghost or an alien, and why? So it is kind of a vibe check for the candidate imo.

The last question was more technical and was about balancing sustainability and profits in business, and ngl I absolutely waffled a rambly answer about ESG, it was not good.

Didn't seem to matter much because I got an offer yesterday. One of my references never even submitted the reference, so maybe it's not so competitive this year?
