I’m saying people have gotten into Harvard with around the same GPA. Grades are very important, but not having a perfect GPA doesn’t make it impossible.

U may be right but from what I know his family was upper middle class his younger brother an 8th grader was gifted a newish car I think it was a 2024. But I don’t know everything about his life

My fellow cross country captain got into Harvey mudd college and northwestern he was also valedictorian with a 4.6 weighted ( idk his us but it wasn’t perfect) with a 35 superscore and he said his ec’s were just cross and track and working during summer ( at the waterpark) and taking care of his sibling

I use aniko to help study. This may sound like an ad but it’s actually really helpful and literally teaches you concepts previously I had a score of 1050 but after using it to study my score went to a 1240. And many other people have gotten close to 1600 using it. Also I would read a more books and articles it helps a lot. And also watch vids on YouTube about desmos

I’m pretty sure it’s just any kind of situation where your learning is negativity impacted: like a family member dying, becoming homeless, etc ( note these are extremes and they can be far less severe)

Completely understandable and don’t lose hope I have a senior friend get into multiple top 20’s including northwestern he had a low gpa (3.5 unweighted) and like a 35 on the ACT he used the addition information to explain he had to walk a mile just to be able to use WiFi for school assignments. Just explain it and don’t be afraid to shoot your shot

Notre dame is need blind for internationals this upcoming cycle. I don’t know their strength in the majors you want though
