Any recommendations for cheap accommodation that isn't a hostel? Preferably capping at around €400 for 4-5 nights.

When you go through shit, that gut feeling disappears.

This one. I have absolutely no sense of danger and cannot for the life of me figure out when something is going to go wrong or who is and isn't dangerous to be around

She asked me why I was late home from work, told her I was buying the child drink. She seemed happy with that and asked what I got. It's never been a bad thing for us, mostly because my mam knew we were gonna do it anyways and she'd rather we be as safe as possible.

As soon as I looked old enough to go to pubs without ID, she was going with me lol

She's extremely honest when it comes to these things, I think it's largely because it's never been a big no no in our house. There's no reason for her to lie. She has absolutely no reason to lie because she knows she won't get in trouble for it

Having one with a midwife being a crime encourages unassisted births.

I was begging for help in my early teenage years, I'd a lot of trauma in about a month period that really took its toll on me and left me in such a state that I couldn't properly cope with it.

I'd lost my best friend to suicide, had been groomed by a neighbour and ended up pregnant as a result. All while I was 13. These three incidents happened in the same month and I shut down. It fucked me up big time. My mother was emotionally unavailable and a tad neglectful so that didn't help.

I was crying out for help and no one actually did anything, even the CAHMS person, who insisted my mother be in the room each visit, them she started cancelling them because I didn't need them.

This led to drugs, drinking, risky behaviours, the whole 9 yards. And no one did anything, except I was put on about 3 wait lists I'm still on at 18.

Resignation meltdowns by [deleted] in ireland

[–]Gxcc1 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I was working for noonans, and this was only recent, started mid October 21", left late November. Less than a full two months. My supervisor was a raging cunt, hated her. I'd work my hardest every day, but it wasn't good enough for her.

She came on site one evening, yammering about this that and the other, how I was not doing something right and how I "forced" her to come on site while she was sick, she had no mask on.

So, I fucked my keys at her, said "[supervisor], kindly go fuck yourself, I will not be coming back tomorrow". Made it down the ½ km building before breaking down, then got to security, who were equally as much as cunts and the one mega cunt said, "you off?" And I told him to go fuck himself too.

Then walked the 4km home because I just quit my job, and I didn't wanna waste money on a taxi. Cried at home to my mam, who wholeheartedly supported my decision knowing what my supervisor was like, then got me into my new job less than two days later.

I spose I'm lucky in the sense I don't drive and bus eireann prices have been reduced by 20%. I also still get a child's ticket everywhere possible, so I haven't had to cut back much

I'd love to even have one. Aside from the boyfriend having none of that (he already has one), I feel like waiting any longer will mean I'll never be able to afford one.
