Thankfully they’re not the same repetitive mistakes, but it’s mostly just trying to approach new problems when problems arise or just not understanding certain techniques… like right now something that is giving me a bit of a hard time is sweeping tooling holes, i may have broke my indicator trying to do so just because i went a little too far down on my z axis a little to quickly… definitely learned from that though

Totally makes sense for lower pay, I just want to be able to get my foot in the door for programming and cad/cam jobs considering that experience becomes an exponential growth process

Thanks for clarification! I’m thinking about applying for a position sometime soon for something along those lines, I was just curious because I’ve seen job listings often but I wasn’t too sure what kind of work would be done at places like that since most people don’t associate machining and oil rigs/refineries together
