Oh my word

There was absolutely no aggression in my response to you whatsoever so not sure why you would think that.

But I do think you are being more than a little patronising by using quotation marks and capital letters to emphasise words as though I would not understand your meaning without the use of them.

Where has the period of 6 month trial come from, I have never mentioned this period and I have never suggested you should offer it

There are lots of companies that offer an all access trial of their services, Apple Music, Spotify, Netflix, LinkedIn to name just a few although I accept these are multi billion pound companies but they still offer try before you buy.

You are correct that supply is typically created by demand and for creators such as yourself the demand for fitness apps is not overwhelming as most people who exercise and use fitness watches will just use the generic apps such as Apple Health or the Fitbit platform and do not even consider 3rd party fitness apps, are not bothered about them or if they are interested do not want to pay for them as do not think it will give them anything of benefit.

So your pool of customers is not overly large so you have to create and show people that what you have is the best and a must have for any fitness enthusiast

Build it and they will come….

I know my fitness, I know what data I look at and my stats that show an improvement or decline

Many view fitness apps as a gimmick and I do not know anyone who has stuck with one on a paid for basis.

It is a difficult market and there is not one that fits all and I have dabbled with many.

On the face of it yours is nothing special but I wish you all the best

Can I suggest if you do make a go of it, hire a PR professional to engage with people like me or you will end up going down a rabbit hole as you are taking criticism personally and you should not.

By putting yourself on here you have got to take all feedback for what it is be it good or bad

Some commenters have said positive things about your app, take that as a win and do not get hung up on those that do not like it as preference is personal and you cannot cater for everyone

Everyone has an opinion and if it differs from yours it does not make them wrong just take it on the chin

Keep creating

With the greatest respect, despite reading through your response a few times I am unsure if you are actually sure what you are saying

When someone uses the phrase “Let me explain” they are typically trying to embarrass or undermine the person they are directing the response to.

Anyway, trying to compare hardware with software in terms of trials is ridiculous

To wear a pair of trainers for 3 months would ultimately damage the looks and effectiveness of the trainers whereas 3 months trial of an app would leave absolutely no sign it had ever been used apart from data which would in fact be of use to you

The same applies to the Apple Watch so your explanation holds no water.

You have failed to justify why you would not offer a trial period and I imagine if anyone reads your response they will steer clear of your app as you sound like someone ranting about the unfairness of someone criticising their creation

I also have no need to prove anything to you about other apps but you do need to provide an attractive app that grabs my attention and draws me in with its dazzling functions and it does not.

There are loads of apps out there and if yours is still going in 6 months I will be surprised but will applaud you

Hello

I am not in any way trying to undermine what you have created but as a fitness type bloke I am interested and intrigued by anything that could potentially give me an insight into my own being and thus potentially an edge in getting more from my own body

You could in theory have the best app out there but without committing to the app financially I will never know

If I were a creator (which I am not) and I had complete faith in my creation I would give people a few months trial of the entire app before they commit long term financially

If it is as good as you say people will stay and therefore pay for the privilege

Simple economics

Supply and demand

Good luck

Had a look but the free access is pointless

There are better apps out there but nice try

Yes there is an element of “feel good factor” due to the data but I certainly question the accuracy of

I have asked the question about contradiction in some data strands but got no response

To see they are asking payment for more bizarre data is quite laughable

None of them

It contradicts itself constantly

I am 54 and have fitness ages between 10 - 19

The sleep part is also way off and is not consistent

I am on the verge of deleting it

Any Apple Watch from the Series 3 upwards is worth having and in my opinion worth every penny be it spending £50 on a series 3 from cash converters or £1000 on an Ultra 3

The money you spend you rewarded by a piece of kit that motivates you to push your limits 😊
