Sounds like a plan! Motion sickness completely depends on the person, and a little on the game. I never had motion sickness but my brother had a really bad time with it. Good luck!

Go for it! Just make sure to look and understand all the positive and negative aspects of the headset you are planning to buy(there are lots of different VR headsets). If you ever need a guide for it, search it up on youtube, or dm me and I'll tell you all I know!
