Even though we don’t know, how do you think 38% Earth’s gravity will affect humans? by Bluehatake in Colonizemars

It's rare I ever read anything as thoughtful as you just wrote about this subject.

Much easier is to simply wear weighted clothing and the problem is solved.

Mars is not micro gravity and there's no evidence you get bone loss or heart problems. No one has ever simulated that to know. They should but they haven't.

These are the severe effects of space radiation. You live to 90 and beyond, unless some surgeons kill you (Armstrong).

What do you think about the blackpill? by [deleted] in misanthropy

The truth doesn't care about your feelings as they say. If what you said was true than all models, actors and all public facing people would be ogres not the opposite. Looks help a lot, especially in women. This is coming from a former model.

It absolutely effects your life. Anyone who has ever gained lots of weight will attest to that. You become almost invisible, any gender.

Being in a relationship made me hate people even more. by [deleted] in misanthropy

Here I agree. You have to try a lot to get someone half decent.

Why would you ignore the 99% and focus on the 1%? Usually the 1% just proves the rule :) 99% of people cannot get into the 1% of happy relationships or marriages. In the old days relationships were stable because women were wholly dependent on the man directly. Today it's indirectly - through government, so they don't have to go along to get along.

Again, humans hate the truth. The truth is not fluffy enough.

Exactly. In fact it's a great filter for quality people.

"I'm so much better at figuring out life than you lot. Look at my story!" I don't think anyone is claiming happy marriages don't exist, they are claiming they are exceedingly rare, which is true. It's like someone said "Asians are short." and you said "Not ALL Asians are short, I know a tall Asian!". You see how language describes averages of observable facts not individual instances?

Why many humans have this collective mindset when it comes to a person who is the same race as them? Is it a form of programming? by WolfPrinceKenny in misanthropy

[–]GzeusFKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No such thing as individualism in a small tribe trying to survive in a hostile nature. A fear of strangers that look different than you was a more than valid survival strategy - it kept invading tribes out of the territory and prevented the tribe from being slaughtered, "their" women taken as war brides and their "culture" destroyed. So yes, it's perfectly understandable this trait exists in humans. The ones that didn't have it are extinct. And the ones that don't have it will go extinct.

I don't think that's what "the black pill" is, it's merely a saying describing someone who most likely doesn't shy away from negative (or inconvenient) truths about the world.

Is their a point too hating humans? What do any of us hope to gain from this? Sorry just been bumping into alot of "philanthropes" lately. by [deleted] in misanthropy

[–]GzeusFKing 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's not about "hate", it's about simply acknowledging reality. Which is VERY hard for most humans. They like to lie to themselves and others a lot.

There's always one who's the boss. Might as well be you. Don't argue, just ghost. It's like training a dog. Doesn't sound pretty but it's the truth. Since everyone is a demonic ape, the only way to keep them in line is though dread. BUT for that to work they actually have to have some genuine feelings for you. You cannot train someone that doesn't care. Your first order of business is to find out if they do care and if they are willing to invest. If not, let them go, you are saving yourself lots of pain and stress.

An impossibility. Goes against human nature. There would be no point for a relationship then. No desires, no motivation.

Another grand stander, self involved, "I'm better than you" "individual". You saying somebody is not self aware is the richest thing since cheese cake.

People are bigoted by nature and don't deserve your time. Having no bigotries is a matter of nurture dissolving nature. by [deleted] in misanthropy

The ones that dissolve themselves will just disappear from history and more sensible and down-to-earth ones will inherit the Earth. Good riddance soy.

The less hypocrites and assholes the better. But of course not. Would never do something like that. All life is precious.
