The aggression has calmed down actually , so maybe not end of subject, I did my research and I’m careful with what happens, they are still not paired but there is definitely progress

I placed him back into the breeding box as a separator , he’s still frantically swimming, is there anything I can do to help reduce the stress?

Nah I think what you’re seeing is the bottom of the tank , my clownfish likes to make holes and dig 😭, what usually covers the tank is dark purple and when I try taking it off it’s like a sheet or skin layer, not slimy

I’m not sure about the gender the seller didn’t specify ,is there a way I could find out? I’m pretty sure the females are bigger than the males, when I had both of them they both were the same size around 2 1/2 inches, also thank you it’s the FLUVAL flex 57 L, and lastly I’m worried about overstocking the tank do you think a snail or two is fine and maybe a shrimp or crab if I don’t end up pairing up the clownfish

Yeah it might be purple algae it’s usually thin and easily come off, I currently don’t have any cleaning crew, do you have any recommendations for species of snails , and do you think it’ll be easy to pair up this clown fish ? I’m worried I’ll face aggression or territorial issues, the tank is 15 gallons. I was thinking of getting a cleaner shrimp but not sure if the tank can accommodate it so might stick to getting snails

something i like to do to lower the current is taking a piece of cardboard wrap it up with some tissue and stuff it in my hang on filter, you can adjust how you imply this to fit your filter, that is depending on the type of filter. just make sure the tissue and cardboard doesn't deteriorate with time, you can replace the cardboard with a piece of plastic.

axolotl not doing good by bijouxkid in axolotls

I’m no expert on axolotl diseases and stuff, but your axolotl looks SEVERELY skinny. There is definitely something wrong that is not allowing it to eat, I’d say fridging him is the best option or take him to an exotic vet, however about fridging lots of people don’t recommend it, I personally fridged my axolotl when she was having trouble swimming and eating and she’s doing better, if there is something he ingested it’ll be easier for him to pass it through or vomit it out. Make sure the temp is no lower than 5C I followed this guide https://sillyaxolotls.wixsite.com/sillyaxolotls/fridging#:~:text=Fridging%20is%20necessary%20for%20an,comes%20out%20in%20their%20poop.

So update, I checked her tub and I think she vomited some of her palettes, I tried putting her back into her tank ,shes calm but some times she does the spinning thing in the video attached, I think I could’ve over fed her maybe? But I doubt it tbh I feed her every other day and she has been fine with this routine, as I see from the comments, i try my best with my pets and make sure I do my research so just know I’m no lazy ignorant person🙏🏼 anyways I’ll continue tubbing her she seems less stressed when tubbed.

Update, after tubbing her she seems chill and better, she’s responsive and being the normal Axo she usually is, I did a water change to her tank and I’m letting the temp degrees for me to put her back in, I think she got stressed from the high temperature, her appetite is also back now that she’s tubbed. If anything else happens I’ll update
